We had a Phyn smart water controller installed last week. This device allows us to both remotely shut off the water but the device also learns usage patterns and will automatically shut the water off if it senses a leak. Very valuable device for a second home and wish we would have installed it several years ago.
Grand Lake Plumbig (Des) did a great job with the install, which took a little more than an hour.
We use GLP for all of our plumbing and heating needs both large (full boiler replacement last year) to small (radiant heat leak) and once again we were very happy with the service. Easy to schedule, great communication and fair pricing.

Des did a great job assessing and repairing our plumbing leak, offering good options and recommendations. Great communication during the service call while we were away - very patient and professional as we dealt with our poor cell phone reception.
We always have a good experience with GL Plumbing & Heating. My most recent experiences have been with Marcus, and he is professional, fair, patient with my many questions, and gets the work done and done well. Des was also onsite with Marcus recently for a quote and to help troubleshoot a solution on a project and he was also kind and helpful. Becky at the office is usually the person answering the phone and is probably hearing people at their most stressed out, and she is the best. I am always grateful for her assistance getting things sorted out!

Sam and his crew came and replaced a kitchen facet and added a fresh water bib to fill our hot tub. Very knowledgeable and explained different options. Yes, it was expensive but the two man crew was here for almost 3 hours. Also I had a boiler/heat inspection done by another GL employee who explained things well and explained benefits of their service contact. Very happy with service from all three employees.
Des (the plumber) did a great job. He installed water cop and new kitchen faucet. There was some faulty plumbing by previous contractors before we bought our current house in Columbine that was repaired by Des. I would recommend Grand Lake Plumbing. All of their technicians have been great. I have been using them for my houses in Grand Lake since 2005 and I’ve always had good results
GL Plumbing was exceptional! Extremely communicative. Very clear in explaining what was going to happen and to set expectations. The guys who came out and did the work were friendly, efficient and did a superb job. I kept thinking how incredibly professional every aspect of their operation is. Dealing with an issue at our Grand Lake property. Becky in scheduling has been a pleasure to work with. Des Oliver, our technician, did an inspection, evaluation and estimate for the work. He was thorough and professional. First half done!
Jared was knowledgeable, friendly, and got right to work. We felt confident that we got a good maintenance check on our furnace. Jared explained what he assessed, which we appreciated, and he answered all of our questions.
2 problems , old heater, an a short time proved that. Time for replacement! Second issue: leak from upstairs toilet. Grout surrounding tub, can fix on own. Thanks for finding the cause of leak.
Today Josh carried out a service call on our heating system. An excellent technician both in terms of knowledge, skill set and a great ability to communicate. Work was carried out and follow up information was sent within the hour! Highly recommend this company.

Only issue is being able to contact the office. Hold time can be 30 minutes. Even the Building Inspector was unable to contact them to schedule an inspection. Fortunately he was able to contact me directly. Inspection passed with no issues.
August 6, 2025. No issues with the recent boiler installation, it has been working perfectly. I noticed an issue use with our water pressure over the last few days and contacted GLPH. Rebecca called me back within an hour and scheduled me for the next day (today) 👍. Des arrived promptly and quickly diagnosed the issue with a failure on the main well expansion tank. Upfront pricing was provided and Marcus collected the part from the shop. Both guys stayed late to get the install finished so we had water this evening. Thank you to the whole team!

Des came out to check my water filtration system. After one year installation. He made one adjustment and said I'm in good shape. He explained everything to me and he did a great job. He communicated well his time schedule and that was appreciated.
The technician was awesome. The technician was extremely knowledgeable, thorough, polite, worked hard and efficiently. Performed the site visit, diagnosis, removal and install of a new water heater all in one site visit. An awesome job! I highly recommend Grand Lake Plumbing, Heating.
All of our under-ground sewer line drainage system from under our garage and lower bathroom concrete slabs had to be removed and replaced all the way out to the road. Our house is 42 years old and the hardness of our water supply had corroded and even broke though the interior cast iron drains. The outside PVC sewer lateral also had a break and a couple of sags that necessitated replacement.
Grand Lake Plumbing did an exceptional job in communication and coordination of the project. There were four different contractors involved. They even met our needed “aggressive timeline.” I highly recommend using Grand Lake Plumbing for any of your plumbing needs.

They were on time, easy to communicate with before and during my appointment and were very friendly. I would highly recommend them for any plumbing, heating or well needs you might have!

We are in the process of building a log home in Grand Lake and Grand Lake Plumbing, Heating & Sweet Water Pumps has provided excellent service and their staff has been available at every turn and patiently answered all our questions.

Barry and Jayden were pleasant, friendly, and professional young men. They called in advance to let me know of their impending arrival. They were neat and clean throughout the process of removal and installation, and they even put down a large tarp as they wheeled units in and out of our dirty garage. They was patient with me as they answered all of my questions. I appreciated their willingness to share their knowledge. They went above and beyond during this project. We highly recommend Grand Lake Plumbing and Heating! They are the best!
John’s expertise as an engineer gave us the confidence in his understanding of our complex water, heating and ventilation issues. He spent considerable time with us to help us understand and make decisions regarding filtration, protection of our pipes and appliances, water storage, water heater and furnace. Exceptional customer service once again from Grand Lake Plumbing.
They did a great job troubleshooting my issue but were unable to correct it because it was electrical in nature. The tech (Aaron) was great but the diagnosis fee was incredibly high. I had to pay almost $300 for what amounted to a ten minute diagnosis and “sorry, we can’t fix it, call an electrician”. I still recommend these guys as they responded really quickly, but you will pay top dollar for their service
